Hundreds of students at several elementary schools received hygiene kits. These kits contain essential items for sorely needed proper hygiene including shirts, towels, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste and slippers. They were distributed to the neediest children as identified by the Philippine Department of Education.

We are proud to be supporting the Aeta children at the Paite Mabato Elementary School in Zambales province. The Aetas, are one of several nomadic indigenous people in the Philippines living in isolated mountain parts in the Philippines. Helping Homeless with Learning

On the drive back from delivering school supplies, these children were found studying on the side of a busy congested freeway. Our manager was saddened by this sight, she asked to speak to their parents and gave them the last few donations of backpacks and supplies she had in the car. Street children live their lives at the side of freeways - a daily sight in the Philippines.

In many of the poorer elementary schools, children travel to school barefooted as they cannot afford the 50 cent cost of a pair of rubber flipflops. A backpack full of supplies gives kids a huge learning 'lift' thanks to your donations!

Aid to Angono

This drive brought critical supplies to one of the poorest areas in the Rizal region of the Philippines. Clothing, shoes, infant supplies and school supplies/backpacks were distributed to poorest residents of Angono. This community of several thousand people live along Laguna Lake with no running water and sewage. In gratitude, the entire village put on a heartfelt presentation, the children dressing in their finest to sing karaoke and dance. Books for Pag Asa School Children

CRF conducted a site visit to distribute books to pre-school children at Barangay Pag Asa, Angono, Philippines. The teachers and schoolchildren at Pag Asa organized a presentation where a beautiful poem was recited. Over the years, we at CRF have seen how children's reading books can spark a love of learning and create imagination and hope for those who have so little.

Christmas at Bilibiran and Palangoy

Our country manager organized the distribution of Christmas food packages and gifts for hundreds of indigent families in the towns of Bilibiran and Palangoy, Philippines.
